    There's an episode of the Penny Arcade podcast that touches on this. Penny Arcade seems like the last place you'd expect to find discussions like this, but the artist suffers from a crippling anxiety disorder, and the writer is manically depressed.

    But they're both on meds now. I mean, that's what you do, right?
